The UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It conducts several important examinations all around the country every year. Millions of candidates apply for the exams. Civil Service Examination 

UPSC conducts CSE to recruit candidates into various Civil Services of government like the Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Service, and more than 20 others. The exam begins in June, and the final interview takes place in June of next year.. It is one of the most competitive and challenging exams around the world.

Engineering Services Examination

UPSC conducts ESE to recruit candidates for the Indian Engineering Services. The IES comprises engineers who work under the government. It begins around January and ends around November.

Combined Medical Services Examination 

UPSC conducts the CMS exam to recruit candidates as medical officers in various government organizations like the Indian Ordnance Factories, Indian Railways, etc. The main exam begins in May, and the final result after the interview round is somewhere between August and December.

Combined Defence Services Examination 

UPSC conducts CDS exams twice a year to recruit candidates for the Indian Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Officers Training. The exams are held in February and November respectively.

National Defence Academy Examination 

UPSC conducts the NDA exam to recruit candidates for National Defence Academy. It begins in September and the final interview takes place in March or April.

Indian Naval Academy Examination 

UPSC conducts the INA exam to recruit candidates into the Indian Naval Academy as graduate officer-trainees of the Indian Navy. 5-day testing is conducted by the selection board. The exam takes place in April and September and the final interview in March and April.

Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam 

UPSC conducts the SCRA exam to recruit candidates for the undergraduate program in mechanical engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Jamalpur. The exam takes place in January and Interview is conducted in July.

Indian Forest Service Examination

 UPSC conducts the IFoS exam to recruit candidates for the Indian Forest Service. It begins in June and the final interview is conducted in June of the next year.

Indian Economic Service Examination 

UPSC conducts the IEC exam to recruit candidates for the Indian Economic Service. It begins in May and the interview is conducted in August.

 UPSC conducts the CGGS exam to recruit candidates for the post of Geophysicist, Geologist, and Chemical Group ‘A’ in GSI and Junior Hydro-geologist and Central Ground Water Board f Group ‘A’. It begins in May and the interview is conducted in August.

Central Armed Police Forces Examination

 UPSC conducts the CAPF exam to recruit candidates for various positions in central armed police forces. It begins in July and the interview is conducted in November.
