Mecca Masjid

It is one of the oldest mosque in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is one of the largest masjid in India. Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The bricks are made from the soil brought from Mecca, the holiest site of Islam. On 18 May 2007, a bomb exploded inside this Mecca Masjid at the time of prayers on Friday. It has a length of 1550 metres( 5085 feet) with a total capacity of 405(tmcft).
