Even persons with disabilities get 10 years of age relaxation for BankPo exam. To appear for this exam, candidates must obtain valid Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.

Exam Pattern:

The preliminary exam consists of 100 objective multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks in total. This online exam is for one hour and has three sections-English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. As per the negative marking scheme, candidates would lose 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. In order to qualify Prelims and earn the eligibility to sit for Mains, candidates have to get the sectional cut-off marks for the PO exam.

Mains Exam

The Main exam is generally conducted in two parts-Objective and Descriptive. The objective part is of 3 hours duration and carries 200 marks in total. It will carry question from mainly four sections namely Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General awareness and economy and English language.

Descriptive Test:

This 30 minutes long English descriptive writing test is held to test candidates’ proficiency in the English language. Candidates are asked to write a letter or essay in this test.
