Chandigarh: Corporate Relations Cell of Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, organized a campus placement drive at which agro feed industry from Khanna was invited.
A panel of two members of AFI came for searching suitable talent by conducting interviews of the students for the post of technical support associate, providing backend support to customers through email and chat and troubleshooting technical issues.
Dr HK Sidhu, Head, department of agriculture, said that more than 65 students from his department, and also the department of management participated in the campus recruitment drive, out of which 37 candidates qualified the first round. Qualified candidates were then assessed on their communication skills, after which 15 candidates were shortlisted for the said posts. Dr Rajni Saluja, Head, department of management, said that the campus placement drive was useful for the students.
