Vijayawada: Lakshmaiah IAS Study circle has set a new record by securing several top ranks to its students in civil services results of which were released on Tuesday. Study circle student Anirudh Yadav secured All India 8th rank and landed in the coveted IAS. Anirudh’s father was a retired DGP of Haryana. Lakshmaiah Study circle secured 7th rank in two successive years for Ayush Sinha in 2017 and K Varun Reddy in 2018. “We have achieved single digit rank once again with Anirudh Yadav. He has been undergoing coaching with us for the past one year,” said Dr Para Lakshmaiah, chairman of the study circle.
Interestingly, Bollipalli Vinutna of Prakasam district secured 462 rank. Her father, Dr Ravi is working as assistant director of the animal husbandry department, Ongole. After failing to get through even after getting trained in New Delhi, Vinutna joined Dr Lakshmaiah IAS Study circle and changed her options to anthropology.
“I could crack the civil services examination only due to the guidance extended by Dr Lakshmaiah garu and other faculty members,” said Dr Vinutna. Interestingly, Dr Vinutna had also worked as faculty in Lakshmaiah Academy-sponsored graduation course at Andhra Loyola college Vijayawada and New Delhi. She could not get through the civil services when she took sociology as her optional. She changed to anthropology and moved to the Lakshmaiah study circle as Dr Lakshmaiah was a known authority in anthropology. Her decision proved successful. Vinutna is most likely to get IAS.

He said that they have also been running degree courses in public policy and anthropology in SV Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam.
