NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set to release the seat allotment result for Round 5 today, July 21, 2023. Engineering aspirants can access the result on the JoSAA website, josaa.nic.in.
During Round 5, candidates will also have the option to initiate the withdrawal of seats or exit from the seat allocation process. The withdrawal period will be from July 21, 2023, 20:00 IST to July 24, 2023, 17:00 IST. Queries related to withdrawal can be responded to from July 21, 2023, 20:00 IST to July 25, 2023, 17:00 IST. However, it’s important to note that this round’s seat withdrawal or exit option is applicable only for IITs.
The previous four rounds of seat allotment have proven successful in filling a significant number of seats in renowned institutions like IITs, NITs, and other top engineering colleges. For Round 5, the available seat count is expected to be lower than in the preceding rounds.
