MUMBAI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET) Maharashtra, on their notice dated August 21, announced Round-2 of counselling for filling up the vacant seats in Maharashtra NEET-PG 2023 & NEET MDS-2023. It is scheduled to start from August 30 2023.
Round-3 of counselling (CAP-3), online registration and application for NEET PG-2023 & NEET-MDS-2023 has also been announced and is expected to begin on the portal from September 18. The closing date is September 21, till 11.59 PM.
Candidates who could not qualify for seat allocation during the first round of counselling can participate in the upcoming second round on the official website.
As per the schedule published in the notification, the counselling for Round-2 will be open from September 2 to 4, 2023, 11.59PM.
The second selection list will be declared on September 06, 2023.

Candidates who are provisionally allotted seats in the Round-2 of counselling will have to report to the allotted college and pay the requisite fees by a demand draft (DD) or cheque at the allotted college between September 07, and September 09, 5:30PM.
Candidates who have registered in Round-1 of counselling are not required to register for the second round of Counselling. Those who have not registered for the first round of counselling are required to register for the second round by depositing Rs. 3000.
Applicants can select preferences based on their deposit amount during registration under the following conditions:
- Preferences made during CAP Round-1 will be invalidated during subsequent rounds.
- Candidates should verify their eligibility as per the Information Brochure of NEET PG 2023 and NEET MDS 2023.
- Once the status retention form is submitted, it cannot be reversed, so candidates should exercise due diligence.
- Those who do not resign their CAP-1 seat before August 30, 2023, will be considered part of
CAP-2 . - Resignations will not be accepted after September 18, 2023, 05.30 pm.
- Fee payments via Cheque are permissible on Sundays and Bank Holidays but must be replaced with a DD immediately on the next working day.
