“The candidates registered for 17th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are hereby informed that the CTET examination will now be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper (OMR) based on 20.08.2023 (SUNDAY) all over India in the specified cities,” reads the notice.
The CBSE had already released the details regarding the examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, and languages among others on the official website of CBSE CTET i.e., ctet.nic.in.
“The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, and other relevant information is already available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in,” the notice reads further.
The CBSE CTET exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e., Shift 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and Shift 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The CTET admit card 2023 will be issued on the official website in due course. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be required to download the hall ticket and get a printout of it which they will have to carry to the exam centre on the day of the examination.
The CTET 2023 application process commenced on April 27 and the last date for submitting the online applications was May 26, 2023. The application correction window was opened from May 29 to June 2, 2023.
The purpose of the CTET exam is to determine the eligibility of applicants for teaching positions in primary and secondary schools. The exam consists of two papers: Paper I is designed for those aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper II is intended for those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8.
