Ahmedabad: The state’s technical fee regulatory committee on Wednesday announced ad hoc fee structure of 23 newly established engineering colleges for the year 2023-24. Apart from these new colleges, the FRC also approved applications of eight engineering colleges which had demanded the standard 5% rise in their annual fees.
The committee had invited applications to fix one year ad hoc fee structure from the diploma, degree engineering, pharmacy, MBA, MCA colleges that were established this year and announced the fee structures of 23 of such colleges on Wednesday.
The committee is in the process of fixing the regular three-year cycle fee structures for the old colleges and has asked colleges to apply before June 1, 2024. Among these old colleges, eight colleges had asked for only a 5% raise in their fees which is a standard base hike the committee allows. The committee approved the fee hike to these eight colleges.
