HP PAT 2023: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Technical Education has started the online application process for HP Polytechnic Admission Test, HP PAT 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the test on the official website at hptechboard.com.
“Online applications from the desirous eligible candidates are invited through the website hptechboard.com for the Entrance Test of Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT – 2023) and Lateral Entry Test (LEET-2023) for admission to Diploma course in Govt./Pvt. Polytechnics of Himachal Pradesh for the academic session 2023-24,” reads the official notice.
As per the schedule, the HP PAT registration will be active from April 03 to May 02, 2023 up to Midnight. The Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test will be conducted for admission in first-year diploma engineering courses on May 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates may note that the HP Lateral Entry Test, LEET-2023 registration will begin on April 05.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to 1st year Engineering courses and Architecture Assistantship courses etc in Govt./Private Polytechnics of Himachal Pradesh is that the candidates must have passed 10th standard with 35% marks at the qualifying examination from a recognized Board/ University.

Step 1: Visit the official website at hptechboard.com.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Online Admission 2023’.
Step 3: Now, click on PAT registration link and complete the process.
Step 4: Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
Step 5: Pay the examination fee and submit the form.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Application Fees
The applicants from the general category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 650. Whereas, those who belong to SC/ST and OBC are required to pay Rs 400.
