BATHINDA: Prof Ashish Baldi from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, has been selected for national award in higher education, garnered national recognition for his exceptional teaching and research.
On Teachers Day, September 5, the President of India will confer the National Award acknowledging his remarkable contributions to education. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also interact with all 13 awardees on September 4.
Prof. Baldi is celebrated for innovative pedagogy that enhances academic delivery and supports students. He is the only one from Northern India for this coveted honour.
Baldi has consistently ranked in the Top 2% of Scientists worldwide in Pharmacy and Pharmacology by Stanford University for four years.
MRSPTU Vice Chancellor, Prof Buta Singh Sidhu, praised Baldi’s student-centric approach, research excellence and societal contributions.
He introduced feedback-driven meta-cognition, real-time problem-solving, flipped classrooms, and argumentative discussions at MRSPTU.
PhD from IIT Delhi, he has four patents, four design patents, nine intellectual property rights, 11 books, and numerous publications to his credit.
