To check their results, candidates need to enter their roll number and date of birth. The results will be displayed in the form of a merit list, with the names of the qualified candidates arranged in descending order of their marks.
Candidates who have qualified the Tier-I exam will be eligible to appear for the Tier-II exam, which is scheduled to be held on the 25th, 26th, and 27th October 2023. The Tier-II exam will consist of four objective-type papers: Quantitative Ability, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, and Computer Proficiency.
The final result of the SSC CGL exam will be based on the combined marks of the Tier-I and Tier-II exams. The successful candidates will be offered various posts in various government ministries and departments.
The SSC conducted the Tier-I examination from July 14 to 27, 2023 in the Computer-Based Mode.
Shortlisting for Tier-II Examination: Based on the marks scored in the Tier-I Examination, candidates have been shortlisted on a category-wise basis to appear for the Tier-II examination.
Normalization of Marks: Since the Tier-I examination was conducted in multiple shifts, the marks obtained by candidates have been normalized. This normalization process ensures fairness in the evaluation and comparison of scores across different shifts. The formula for normalization was published by the Commission on its website earlier.
Minimum Qualifying Marks in Tier-I: As per the examination notice, candidates had to achieve the following minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I:
UR: 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%
Candidates who met these minimum qualifying marks have moved on to the next stage of the examination, which is Tier-II.

To check your SSC CGL Tier-I 2023 results, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Open your web browser and go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at https://ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: Look for the “Results” or “Result” tab on the SSC website’s homepage. Click on it to proceed.
Step 3: Within the Results section, you will find a list of SSC examinations. Locate and click on “CGL Tier-I 2023” or a similar option related to your exam.
Step 4: You will be directed to a login page. Enter your credentials, which typically include your Roll Number/Registration Number and Date of Birth. Ensure the information is accurate.
