WBJEEB ANM & GNM 2023 Result: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has published the results for the ANM & GNM-2023 examinations. These results determine admission into ANM(R) & GNM courses across various institutes in West Bengal.
Aspiring candidates can download their rank cards from the official WBJEEB websites, www.wbjeeb.nic.in and www.wbjeeb.in.
The examination for ANM(R) & GNM-2023 took place on July 23, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. WBJEEB has established merit ranks based on the candidates’ performance in the common entrance tests. Individual candidates can access and download their rank cards, which contain their scores and ranks. It is important to note that WBJEEB does not publicly disclose rank/score lists to maintain confidentiality for each candidate.
WBJEEB has released separate ranks for ANM(R) and GNM, both under the title of GMR (General Merit Rank). Ranking follows a descending order of marks obtained in the entrance test. Additionally, separate merit positions have been designated for candidates belonging to various reserved categories, including SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD/EWS/Orphan/CD, as applicable.
While rank cards have been issued to all ANM(R) & GNM-2023 candidates, not all may have achieved a rank and thus may not be eligible for counseling. The Board will decide the cutoff rank and/or cutoff score for counseling purposes.
Candidates with grievances regarding their scores can email the Board at info@wbjeeb.in within 24 hours of result declaration, attaching copies of OMRs, rank cards, question booklet numbers, series codes, and question-wise score calculations. Physical representations are also accepted until 12 noon on the next working day after result publication, but no queries will be entertained beyond that point.
Candidates can calculate their scores using their machine-read responses and the published final answer keys. For a calculation sheet from the Board, candidates must apply with a demand draft of Rs 500/- payable to “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” in Kolkata. This facility is available for up to 60 days after result declaration or until the counseling process concludes, whichever is later.
Furthermore, the WBJEEB has announced counseling dates for ANM(R) and GNM courses, scheduled from September 12 to 22, 2023. Qualified candidates can participate in the online counseling process, during which they will need to submit their preferred choices of colleges and institutes. Seat allotment will be based on candidates’ ranks and choices.
