SSC JHT 2019 Application Form has been made available at the official website from August 27, 2019. Aspirants can register for the exam by filling the application form in online mode only at ssc.nic.in. Last day to apply for SSC JHT 2019 is September 26, 2019.

SSC JHT Application Process comprises of two parts – Part I and Part II.
- In Part I of application form candidates have to fill up their basic details
- Part II of involves fee payment either through BHIM UPI/ Net banking/ Debit/ Credit cards or e-challan and uploading of scanned photograph and signature.
- Applicants have to make payment of application fee of INR 100/-. SC/ST/ PWD and women candidates are exempted from fee payment.
- Only successfully registered candidates will be issued SSC JHT 2019 Admit Card.
- Correction in the application form will not be entertained after final submission.

SSC JHT 2019 Eligibility
Candidates interested in applying for the exam should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the commission for the recruitment process.
Education Qualification:
- Aspirants must have Bachelor’s Degree from the recognized University / Institution.
- Master Degree English /Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level and relevant degree from the recognized University/Institution.
Age Limit: Age of all the applying participants should not be more than 30 years as on January 1, 2019. Category wise age limit relaxation is given below:
- SC/ST: 5 year
- OBC: 3 year
- PH: 10 year
- PH+OBC: 13 year
- PH+SC/ST: 15 year
- Ex serviceman: 3 years after they are out from military service from actual age.
Citizenship:
- Those candidates whose residential address is in India are eligible to apply for SSC JHT 2019.
- The candidates of Indian origin who are migrants from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet can also apply.
How to fill SSC JHT Application Form 2019?
Following are the steps to fill the application form of SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019:
Part I: New User Registration
- Click on the link ‘SSC Junior Hindi Translator Application Form’.
- Candidates will be redirected to the registration page.
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.
- Enter name, father’s name, date of birth, gender etc and click on the ‘enter’ button to proceed further for the registration process.
- Registration number and password will be generated.
Part II – Application Form Filling
- Candidates have to log in using their registration number and password to fill this part.
- Applicants in this part will have to choose exam center, enter personal details, basic details, and contact details.
- After registration, upload your scanned photograph, signature mandatorily and left thumb impression if Aadhaar Card number is not given. The scanned photograph and signature should be 8-bit JPG or JPEG format.
- The digital size of the image for the photograph file should be between 20 kb to 50 kb. Digital scanned signature file should be between 10 kb to 20 kb.
- After uploading images of signature and photograph, click on the submit button.
- Candidate should take print-out of challan for payment of the fee in cash generated online after completion of part I registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of State Bank of India and then continue with the Part II registration.
- Candidates who want to pay online through net banking/ debit/ credit cards can go directly to part II registration after completion of part I by clicking the ‘payment’ tab.
- After completion of the payment procedure, the candidate may take a print out of their filled application form.
SSC JHT 2019 Application Fee
Applicants of SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019 will have to make payment of INR 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) as application fee. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with disability, Ex-servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from SSC JHT fee payment.
Mode of Fee Payment:
- Fee can be paid through online mode using the BHIM UPI, Net banking and any of the credit and debit cards.
- Candidates opting to pay the fee in cash, should take print-out of challan generated online after completion of part I registration. Then, pay the requisite amount of fee in branch of State Bank of India and then continue with the Part II registration.

Exam Pattern - SSC JHT
Staff Selection Commission has specified SSC JHT 2019 Exam Pattern and Syllabus in its official notification. It will be conducted in two phases – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted on November 26, 2019 in online mode.
- Paper 1 is an objective type computer based test.
- It will have questions on General English and General Hindi.
- Only candidates qualifying in Paper 1 will be eligible to appear in Paper 2.
- Paper 2 is a descriptive type pen paper based test.
- It will have questions on translations and essay writing.
- Final selection will be based on candidate’s performance in both the papers.

- Paper 1 is a Computer Based Test having multiple choice questions.
- It consists of two sections – General English and General Hindi.
- Each section has 100 questions and total time duration is 2 hours.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC JHT Paper 2 Pattern
- Paper 2 is pen paper based test having descriptive questions.
- This paper consists of translation and essay writing questions
- In translation, candidates will be asked to translate one Hindi passage to English and one English passage to Hindi language.
- In essay writings, candidates have to write one essay in Hindi and one in English.

SSC JHT 2019 Marking Scheme
- Paper 1 has a total of 200 MCQs, 100 each from General English and General Hindi.
- Each question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Paper 2 will have 4 questions. There is no specific marking pattern followed in paper 2.
- Maximum marks for both Paper 1 and 2 is 200. There is no negative marking applicable in Paper 2.

SSC JHT 2019 Result for Paper 1 will be released in the month of December, 2019 on the official website. Candidates will have to download the result from ssc.nic.in by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. How to Check SSC JHT 2019 Result?
SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019 Result will be published on the official website. Candidates who appear for the online examination will be able to download their mark sheet. Here are simple steps to download the mark list:
- Visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission i.e ssc.nic.in
- Click the Result tab on the right-hand side on Homepage.
- The Result tab will display level-wise exams.
- Click on “JHT” which is located at the seventh tab from left to right.
- On the right-hand side, click on Result and Marks files.
- The page will navigate to a new page displaying pdf version of results.
- Candidates can download the result PDF and save it for future reference.
SSC JHT 2019 Cutoff
Staff Selection Commission will release the cut off list for Paper I, Paper II and Final Cut off. Paper I cut off will be released after the result of the Computer Based Test. Paper II cut off will be released after the result of descriptive exam. The final cut off will combine both Paper I and Paper II marks.
- The cut off list will mention Preference, Department, Category of the Applicants, Vacancy for the applied post, whether filled or unfilled and the total marks of the applicants.
- The cut off score for SSC JHT 2019 is based on the difficulty level of exam, total number of vacancies, number of candidates appeared for exam and total marks of exam.
- The cut off enables the applicants to know if they are qualified in the examination or not.

SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019 Merit List
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the examination, assess the answer sheets and declare the result. SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019 Merit List will be published on the website after results.
- SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019 Merit List will be based on the marks secured by the applicants in the combination of Paper I and Paper II which are Computer based Test and Descriptive Test.

- On the basis of result of Paper I, the qualified applicants will be called to appear for Paper II examination.
- SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2019 Result for Paper II examination will be declared in July 2019 as expected.
- The selection of candidates will be based on the merit rank and preferences of the applicants and the eligibility.
- A final list of qualified candidates is then categorized on the basis of vacancy position, category-wise details for the post of Junior Hindi Translator.
