Established in 1961, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, also known as IIT Delhi or IITD has garnered an enviable reputation among the country’s top engineering colleges. Tryst
This is an annual technical festival of IIT Delhi that is held around the end of February or the beginning of March. The 4-day fest, the largest of North-India sees enthusiastic participation of over 650 colleges and a whopping footfall of over 45,000. Organized by the students and managed by the ‘Core Team Members’ (CTM), Tryst packs around 200 events including competitions, seminars, workshops, talks and much more. The Tryst fest is a wonderful amalgamation of innovation, technical skill, and amazing fun.

It must be noted that weather conditions during Tryst tend to be foggy, so it’s important to keep this in mind when booking flight tickets.
If traveling by train, the campus is 19 km from Old Delhi Railway Station, 14 km from New Delhi Railway Station and 12 km from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. You have plenty of options to reach the campus. Flag an auto rickshaw or a cab (Mega cabs, Delhi cabs, Easy cabs & Quick cabs). In addition, you can board the metro. Take the Yellow line from Chandni Chowk Metro Station heading towards Huda City Centre and get off at Hauz Khas Metro Station. Hop on to an auto-rickshaw to reach the IIT-Delhi Campus which is about 1km away.

For workshops organized by IIT Delhi, accommodation is not a hassle. The college has adequate on-campus housing arrangement for those who prefer residing on the premises.
