BEL Exams Books

Introduction

BEL in its graduate engineer exam notification has not said much about the pattern of the written exam, except that the selection process would consist of a written test followed by an interview.

So I had to search on the net for the pattern of written exam of previous years and I could find that the BEL written exam consists of a total 150 marks containing the following two sections:

1.0 Aptitude section:

It consist of 30 questions each weighing 1 mark. Questions on passage comprehension, grammar, data interpretation & logical reasoning are asked.

2.0 Technical section:

It consists of 120 questions each weighing 1 mark. Subject-specific (Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Science) questions are asked.
You have to answer the 150 questions, 150 marks paper in a 2-n-half hour. There is a negative marking of -0.25 for each wrong answer and hence you should be cautious in making guesses.
