How To Fill CMAT Application Form 2020

Step 1 – Register for CMAT 2020

• Students must first register themselves for CMAT 2020 and should keep a note of the application number generated.

• Students need to create a password and choosing the security question in case they forget the password in the future, it would help them to recover it.

• Candidates will have to fill in all the details in the form appropriately.

• After submitting the personal details, the CMAT 2020 registration number will be generated.

• Log in again with the CMAT logging in with the application number and password.

Note – Keep safely the application number as it will be used to complete other steps and for future references.

Points to Remember About Resetting of Password for CMAT 2020 Registration Form

• Candidates will have to choose the security question and answer

• Authorities will send a verification code through text message (SMS) at the registered mobile number

• Reset the password by clicking on the link that is sent at the registered email address of the candidate

Step 2 – Fill the Application Form of CMAT 2020

The student will be redirected on the page of the application form, wherein he or she will be required to fill the following details:

• Candidate’s name

• Father’s name

• Mother’s name

• Date of birth

• Gender

• State of residence

• Category

• PwD more than 40%- yes/no

• Types of disability- (options would be provided)

• Whether you need scribe reader?

• Disability category for scribe reader-

• Nationality

• Are you diabetic?

Step 3 – Enter the Security code-

• After completion of the qualification details, students need to enter the security code that they will be needing to type the same text as provided.

Step 4 – Preview the CMAT Registration Form 2020

• After submitting the application form of CMAT 2020, students will get to review the page.

• Candidates must verify all the information in CMAT registration form and edit it if they have made any error. After verifying each section students will be required to mark in “parameters checklist to be verified.”

• Once the information is verified click on “I agree” in the declaration section. Lastly, click on final submit.

Step 5 – Upload the documents

• In this step, students are required to upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature as per the format and size mentioned in the CMAT registration form 2020

• Students can upload the documents in black and white or coloured form.

• The photo must be clear and legible

• After uploading documents fill the security pin and then click on ‘upload.’

Note- Correction in the images would not be provided once submitted.

Students would be redirected to the next page to preview the documents uploaded.

It will involve the options to edit the application form and edit uploaded documents. Once the information is confirmed click on ‘pay examination fee rs. XXX/-’

Step 6 – Payment of fees for CMAT application form 2020

Candidates can make the payment of application fees for CMAT 2020 through any one of the following mode:

1. NTA will release CMAT Mock Test one month before the CMAT 2020 exam date on CMAT exam website.
2. Go through the CMAT 2020 trial test to have a feel of the online computer based CMAT paper pattern carefully and familiarize yourself with the screens, layout, and navigation tools in the revised CMAT exam pattern.
3. At the CMAT test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations.
4. After the CMAT exam is over, candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk.
5. CMAT Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the CMAT testing room. No breaks will be given during the CMAT exam.
6. One of the key features in CMAT 2020 exam pattern is that none of the candidates in CMAT 2020 will be disqualified even if they score very low. The objective of the test is not to eliminate the candidates from the process of seeking admission in the AICTE approved management programmes, rather to facilitate the institutions to select the suitable candidates as per their merit.

Role of NTA in CMAT Exam 2020
The role of NTA is limited to conduct of CMAT 2020 exam but it has no role in granting approval to any PGDM or equivalent programme. AICTE is the authority to grant approval to different types of PGDM programmes of the management institutes.
