For the post of Senior Officer (Fire), the required Educational qualification is NBCD(I) (Nuclear Biological Chemical Defence) qualified CPO/ Master Chief Petty Officer of Indian Navy (Ex-Serviceman).

MDL Recruitment – Assistant Manager (Safety)

The required Educational qualification is Full-Time Degree in any branch of Engineering from a Recognized University, with minimum first Class or 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average), and Full-Time Diploma in Industrial Safety from a Recognized University, and Adequate knowledge of Marathi Language, for the post of Assistant Manager (Safety),

The Remuneration for Assistant Manager (Safety) is between in the slab of INR 20,600-46,500

MDL Recruitment – Deputy General Manager (Administration)

The required Educational qualification for the post of Deputy General Manager (Administration) is minimum Diploma in Business Management / Business Administration / Public Relations / Management Studies / HR / PM and / or IR / Post Graduate Degree awarded by a recognized university / institute registered with AICTE.

The Pay scale for Deputy General Manager (Administration) is  in the slab of INR 36,600-62,000/-.

MDL Recruitment – Company Secretary, General Manager (Tech), General Manager (HR)

The required Educational qualification for the post of Company Secretary is Passed Final Examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and should have Associate/ Fellow member of ICSI. And, Bachelor Degree in Law / LLB from a recognized University.

The Remuneration for Company Secretary is between in the slab of INR 51,300-73,000/-.

MDL 2019 Vacancies and Pay Scale

Grade, Pay Scales and Reservations

Approximate CTC calculated at the start of the scale. In addition, the applicants would be entitled to a Performance Pay as per criteria defined by the MDL Recruitment from time to time.

MDL Recruitment 2019 Application Form

The MDL Application form is accepted in online mode only. Candidates who are willing to pursue MDL career have to register themselves on the official website i.e. www.mazagondock.gov.in. The Mazagon Dock Application form should be submitted before November 10, 2019. The candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling the MDL Application Form.

MDL Application Fee

The MDL application fee is INR 300/-. Applicants belonging to SC / ST / PWD are exempted from such payment of processing fee.

The MDL application fee is accepted in offline mode. The offline mode includes payment through SBI Challan, challan form is available on the official website of MDL. Candidates are required to deposit the Processing fee at any nearest branch of SBI (State Bank of India).

Important: Depositing Processing fees at SBI is not sufficient, but the original ‘MDL’s Copy’ section of the Challan with proper Bank seal must be received at MDL along with the copy of the MDL application form on or before November 25, 2019, on the following address:

Age Relaxation for MDL Recruitment 2019

There will be an upper age limit relaxation by 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC candidates and in a case of ex-servicemen, the upper age limit will be relaxed to the extent of a number of years served in Military Service. 

There will be minimum of 3 years of Service left before superannuation (60 years) in respect of outside candidates and 2 years in a case of Internal candidates as on the last date of MDL application i.e. November 10, 2019.

MDL Recruitment Process 2019 

a. Interview

The MDL Recruitment process will be by the way of Personal Interview only. The questions asked about the experience of the course, projects and internships and more. 

b. Verification of Original Documents

All original documents like degree certificate, proof of date of birth, caste certificate etc. will be checked at the time of interview.

c.Pre-Employment Medical Examination

Candidates short-listed for appointment following interview will undergo a medical test conducted/ organized by the Company. Candidates should be of sound health and meet the Medical fitness standards as prescribed.

d.   Verification of Antecedents

Candidates have to obtain a formal Police Verification Report before joining MDL. Police Verification Report (PVR) is a pre-requisite for joining of the selected candidates.

e. Offer of Appointment

The candidates who successfully qualify the MDL requirements will be eligible for the post will be offered an appointment as per the Company policy and will be on probation for a period of one year and will be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period.

Important Guidelines for MDL Recruitment 

From PSU/ Govt. Department/ Armed Forces

Candidates, who are employed in Public Sector Undertakings/ Government, will have to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) at the time of interview.

Candidates presently working with other government organizations/ PSUs as well as Internal candidates should have minimum 1-year experience in one scale of pay below that of the post applied for.

From Private Sectors

The candidates should indicate their organization’s structure depicting their position at the time of personal interview.

The candidate should also possess a minimum of one year experience in a company whose annual turnover is in excess of Rs. 100 Crore in any one of the last three financial years.
