Educational Qualification

Regular Position

CA/ICWA from any recognized Board or University.
Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering in CSE/IT, Master of Computer Application, Master of Science in CS/IT from any recognized University in addition to CA/ICWA.

Contractual Position

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology

Professional Work Experience

Regular Position

A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in the field of costing/technology consultancy/cost center accounting.
Candidate should have an experience of working with major IT projects in Banking Industry or Financial Information System.

Contractual Position

A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Architecture of web and mobile applications is required.

Age Eligibility

Regular Position

Lower limit: 30 years of age on or after December 31, 2019
Upper limit: 45 years of age on or after December 31, 2019

Filling of Application Form and Uploading Documents

Once confirmed the eligibility fulfilment click on ‘Apply Online’. Enter all the required details correctly. Upload scanned recent passport-sized photograph and signature in jpg/jpeg format.

Remittance of the Application Fee

Make Payment of Fees via Credit card/Debit card or Net banking. Choose the payment method on the basis of convenience. Applicant’s Admit card will not be generated if the applicant fails to process the payment. Download and save the e-receipt received on successful payment. Click on ‘Submit’.

Once the application is submitted, applicants will be able to download the form. Download and take two print outs of the form. Keep one for reference and send the other copy with required documents and enclosures to the mentioned postal address:

SBI SO 2019 Application Form Correction

The application form correction for SBI SO 2019 is possible at certain stages of online application. All the methods are listed below:

Form correction will be available through the steps of details until the time of final submission.
Applicants can edit and make changes or correct errors in the application form with only three attempts before the closing date.

State Bank of India (SBI) conducts SBI SO 2019 exam to recruit Specialist Officers as Assistant Managers, Engineers, Officers, Architects, designers, administrators, Tester, Manager, Analysts, Developers, Test lead, innovation specialist, and various other Posts on the regular/ contractual basis. Online registration starts on September 6, 2019. The application form for SBI SO 2019 closes on September 22, 2019. The admit card will be available from October 10, 2019 to download. The exam will be held on October 20, 2019.

The exam will be conducted in online mode.
Candidates can choose their exam center at the time of filling up application form and under no circumstances they will be permitted to change the center later.
0.25 Or ¼ mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The exam can be attempted in English and Hindi both.

SBI SO Exam Pattern (For Systems, CA and Engineering Officers)

The exam for the post of Systems, CA and Engineering Officers will be conducted in two parts. Candidates will have to attempt Question Paper 1 and Question Paper 2. Question paper 1 will be conducted for 90 minutes. Candidates will be asked to answer 120 questions from three sections namely, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude. Official Language Officers will be required to have proficiency in Hindi and English language along with the possession of some reasoning abilities. Based on these skills the exam will be conducted. The third question paper for the post of ‘Economist’ will be of a descriptive nature. Candidates will be asked to write an essay on a topic related to Economics. The question paper will be of 50 marks. 45 Minutes will be provided to the candidates to solve the question paper.

SBI SO 2019 Marking Scheme

The marking scheme is such that, questions asked in question paper 1 will be comprising one mark for each correct answer. 0.25 Or ¼ mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. In question paper 2, 50 questions for a total of 100 marks will be asked. There will be different exams which carry different marks and also time allotted to them is different. Candidates have to score minimum marks to crack this exam.
