- Classes are conducted regularly and strict time table is followed for the entire year
- Completion of the syllabus in time and enough focus on revision.
- Multiple tests are conducted for prelims and mains in parallel right from the beginning
- They have a unique mentorship program and I used to be in constant touch with Mr. Rangarajan IAS once every two weeks to review my prelims scores in test series. He used to give me tips and challenge me every time to achieve a better score
- Once I cleared prelims, Mr. Rangarajan used to review my answers in the mains test series after every test. Similarly, other subject experts helped me improve my answer writing through constant feedback. Mr. Israel Jebasingh, Director of the academy himself reviewed some of our mains answers.
- The Director has taken a personal interest in every individual and helped us fill the DAF. This made the interview preparation easier.
- After Mains, a detailed session about interview preparation was conducted by Mr. Isreal Jebasingh which helped me immensely to get a fresh perspective
- After I got the interview call, there were individual one-on-one mock sessions conducted by Mr.Rangarajan. Later, I attended a series of mock interviews at the academy to improve my performance and confidence
Student Experience of IAS Coaching
- Right from the commencement of the classes, they make you write compulsory mains tests which helped me to improve answer writing skills which were prerequisites for UPSC mains.
- Weekly mentor program helped me to open myself to an experienced IRS officer ( Sh Nandakumar sir) and in a way helped to polish my personality skills for interview.
- Classes timings absolutely adhered to the prescribed schedule which were crucial to maintaining individual and class discipline.
- Faculty members were very much approachable in or outside the classes, I remember Many times Chezhlian sir though teaches geography reviewing my optional answer papers.
- Once prelims got over a separate team worked on our mains preparation. I can recall multiple one-on-one sessions with Mr. Rangarajan sir spending time with my essay and GS papers and even Israel sir helped me with my ethics paper.
They provide support not just in studies but even with personal problems, thus helping to build emotional bondage between students and faculties. I remember many of my friends and myself greatly benefiting from individual sessions with Uday Kumar Sir.
However, a little bit of effort can be made to improve the optional in terms of some test series or increasing resources, this would greatly benefit the student community. Hope in the coming days they work on it.
Overall my experience here in this academy has been most productive. In the end my small advice/wisdom would be, all the support, guidance and help from academy cannot become a substitute for individual hard-work and consistent efforts. Take the maximum benefit from teachers, staff and show a great deal of consistency in your preparation.

- I am a student of Officers IAS academy, since the time I joined the school. Presently I am completing my UG and qualified for the assessment. I joined the foundation to get an idea before I could begin my preparation, following the completion of my UG.
- Toward the part of the bargain, I understand this foundation has shown me a great deal. The personnel doesn’t confine rendering their direction to just the class hours. Rather, they require the additional push to assist us with anything we need, be it the subject or good help. The subjects are instructed in such a manner, that it is comprehended by all. There is a feeling of solid challenge among the understudies noticeable all around.
- As a standard student, I have missed a couple of classes. In any case, the video recording of the class has been exceptionally helpful to make up for a lost time. The aspirant’s progress is investigated intently by the personnel, based on test scores in the week by week took tests. The library is open for students from early hours. The foundation’s framework is appropriate for a legitimate report condition.
- The timetable is detailed so that the syllabus can be completed on time.

- Science and innovation: Dinesh Sir. Many questions in prelims is from his notes. Makes sure his students are well prepared.
- Financial aspects: Sarath sir.Good teacher.
- Condition: Vijay Sir is a great teacher. His notes are enough and a couple of subjects in sia Environment book.
- History: Saravanamoorthy Sir taught very well.” No one can teach more than this”. This is the thing that you will feel in his group. In any case, in reality in the wake of opening range, just students realize he secured just 40%, rest you need to put effort. Nobody can beat him.
- Inside security: Karthikayen sir, Excellent.
- Global association: Chandru sir, Great.
- Administration: Average.

- The disadvantage of interconnected class: Students will keep on talking
- Test arrangement: Average difficulty questions. Answer booklet not provided.
- CSAT: It is not good for Science students.
- Do not join after august.
- The fees are 1.5 lakhs. Make sure you do your research before paying the fee.
- Shankar sir is one of the best. No videos or online lectures can match him.
