Is IIT JAM Tougher than IIT JEE? IIT JAM stands for Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Admission Test for Masters. One should have passed graduate courses in science subjects with 60% marks to apply for JAM. There would be objective and descriptive type questions for all the subjects, other than Biotechnology and computer technology, which contain objective type questions only. The top rankers in IIT JAM get selected for post-graduate courses at IIT.
