SOCIAL CAUSE
Thomso 2017 IIT Roorkee is amongst those of the very few colleges which work for a social cause every year. However the social cause of the fest this year was “Gender Equality”. It was a great initiative of its kind in order to combat the gender differences prevailing in the society. Gender equality is and has always been a matter of concern and debate in the society. Thomso’s idea was to support and promote the fact that no gender is less or more or better than the other, but a need for both. Therefore, both the genders should be considered equal with equal rights and recognition in the society and no gender should let down the other one. The motive of the festival was to promote the social as grand as possible and Thomso-017 was successful in doing so.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”4794″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]EVENTS AND PROCEEDINGS
