Indian Bank PO 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criterion for the Indian Bank PO exam is set up by the conducting body. Candidates have to make sure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility norms for the recruitment test before applying for it. The eligibility criteria for the test are given as follows-

Nationality

Individuals belonging to any of the following nationalities can apply for the Indian Bank PO 2019 exam:

1. Indian national
2. A resident of Bhutan or Nepal
3. A Tibetan refugee, who has moved to India intending to stay here permanently
4. People of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and East African countries intending to settle permanently in India

Age Limit:

1. The lower age limit is 20 years of age and the upper age is 28 years for the General category as on July 1, 2018.
2. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government norms and is given in the table below:

Educational qualification:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institution or any equivalent qualification as recognized by the Central government.
• Those appearing for the final exam of the qualifying degree are also eligible provided they can submit requisite documents during the final recruitment round

Step 1: Registration

• Go to the official website of Indian Bank i.e. indianbank.in
• Click on ‘PGDBF Program 2019-19’ under the Career tab. Select the option of ‘Apply Online for PO- Onboarding’ to start the registration process.
• Applicants must fill in their basic details like their name, mobile number, and email ID. Carefully go through these details and click on ‘Register’.
• Upon successful registration, candidates will see a provisional Registration
• Number and Password. These credentials will also be sent via email and SMS to the registered mobile number and email ID of candidates

Step 2: Filling of Application Form

• Participants must use the system generated Registration Number and Password to login to their user accounts.
• They will be required to enter their personal, communication and educational details.
• Aspirants will then have to upload scanned images of their recent passport- size photograph and signature as per the guidelines specified in the form.
• After all the necessary fields have been duly filled, individuals can see the preview of their application form. Check all the details, edit the errors and click on ‘Save & Next’

Step 3: Fee Payment

• The next step is to pay Indian Bank PO 2019 application fee.
• Fees can be rendered only through the online mode.
• Applicants should take a print out the copy of e-receipt of transaction and preserve it.
• Upon completion of all the above steps, candidates should take a print out of the confirmation page of the application form for reference.

Indian Bank PO 2019 will be conducted in 3 stages- Prelims, Main and Interview. Here are some highlights about the exam pattern:

1. Indian Bank PO 2019 Prelim exam is an online test.
2. The test will have 100 objective type questions which have to be solved within 1 hour.
3. The question paper will be divided into 3 sections- English language, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.
4. Indian Bank PO 2019 Main exam will also be an online test comprising 200 objective questions.
5. This online test will have 5 sections- English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.
6. Students who qualify the online test of the Main stage will have to appear for a descriptive test (Letter writing & Essay).
7. Both tiers of the exam will be available in English and Hindi

Indian Bank PO 2019 Result for the Prelims will be declared within 7 days of conducting the exam. The results will be announced on the official Indian Bank website in the form of scorecards. The scorecard will have the scores obtained in the different sections as well as the total normalized score. • Prelims exam: This is the first stage of the Bank PO examination. Candidates have to appear for a computer-based, objective type test held in a single session. Those who clear the sectional and overall cut off will proceed for the next tier.
